Hip Hop Hangover Peek-a-boo box!

Hello! It's good to be back for Hip Hop Hangover! I decided to make a peek-a-boo box for the window challenge for hip hop yesterday. You can find this awesome tutorial HERE by Brenda Quintana.
I used DP from Cosmo Cricket's Halfway Cafe. All stamps are from Unity, of course. I colored my bird image with prisma pencils and blended with OMS. The inside flap is a square of kraft CS. I stamped the heart in ridinghood red and the love in black. Filled my box up with some sunflowers seeds for a surprise treat for my son's lunch box when he is at camp next week. He loves sunflowers seeds! The DP circle behind my bird is the circle I punched out to make my window. I just flipped it to the other side. Since my bird appears to be sleeping, I thought it looked like a moon!

Thanks for stopping by!

TDSC016-Flower Power!

Hey everybody! Today's The Digi Shack challenge is to use a flower image on your card! That is pretty easy for me since I LOVE flowers. I used TDS gerbera daisy image for this card. I colored the image with prisma pencils and added some stickles to the petals. The base is Rich Razzleberry and the image is matted in Pumpkin Pie. The ribbon is SU's pumpkin pie. The sentiment is from SU's Sweet Little Sentiments retired hostess set.

Make sure that you use keyword TDSC016 when uploading to online galleries. Also link your card at TDS site HERE.

Hope you get a chance to play along with us!

A Friend Like You...

Hello! This card was for today's sketch challenge over on SCS. I love the simplicity of the sketch! My base is very vanilla and I used blue bayou and kiwi kiss to mat my sentiment. The DP, stick pins and button are from Chloe's Closet by MM. The ribbon is SU's So saffron. The stamp is an oldie by SU from a set called In My Thoughts.

I hope you all are well. I think I am finally Disney detoxed! LOL!

I will have a Digi Shack challenge posted for tomorrow!

I'm Back!!!!

Hello everyone! I am back from a fabulous trip at Disney and the beach! We had a blast but I am very worn out! I came home to find my computer had been fried in a storm, so I now have a new laptop! I am trying to get used to it and bookmarking all of my favorites again is a pain!
I made this card for the CAS25 over on SCS. I also used last week's freebie image over at The Digi Shack. I LOVE this little alien guy. I had to use him! He is free until the end of the month. There is also a new freebie image over at TDS, so go check it out HERE.

I colored my image with prisma pencils and blended with OMS. The ribbon is from American Crafts and the sentiment is from SU's new Teeny Tiny Wishes.
I am so glad to be back stamping! Now that all of my computer glitches are fixed, I hope to see you all soon in blogland and SCS.

I will have some very exciting news for you in the upcoming month! Can't wait to share it with you!

EIC46- ROCK ON!

This week's Etsy shop is Artistic Flair. She has some adorable glass pendants for your viewing pleasure. I was obviously inspired by these guitar pendants, which will be the give away this week. A random winner will be picked next Friday, and will receive a pendant from the shop. It will be whatever the shop owner has on hand at the time. Surprises are good!

I used stamps from H&M for my card. I have no clue who the DP is from! It was a scrap, but I think it was DCWV.
When you upload to galleries please use key word EIC46. Also link you card HERE.
Hope you all are well! I will be back tonight!

EIC45-The Daily Pincushion

This week's EIC45 challenge is The Daily Pincushion. These sweet little felt creations are sure to get your juices flowing! I was inspired by the flower theme and the colors on this pincushion. I made a diorama box this week. I love to make these, and actually made a very similar box last year for my son's teacher. I needed another thank you, so I made another for this challenge. You can find a tutorial for the diorama box HERE.

I apologize for the yucky photo's! I took photo's all over my house and no matter where I took them, they look yucky! :(

I have several scheduled posts for you over the next week! I am off to Cocoa Beach and Disney World with all my guys! We were going to go up north again, but I found a great deal on-line and literally planned this trip last night with hubby! We were on the computer until 2AM!! We are going to the beach for three days and then to Disney for 5 days! We are staying at a Disney resort, so it should be interesting! I am not a big amusement park kinda gal, but I can't wait to see my boy's faces when they see the castle!

Please remember to use EIC45 when uploading to online galleries! Link your creation HERE for a chance to win a pincushion from this shop!

I can't wait to visit your blogs when I get back! I have already been told by hubby and oldest DS that I am NOT to be on the computer while we are gone! LOL!

Hugs!

TDSC14- Up In The Clouds!

This week's challenge for The Digi Shack is to use clouds on your project. I love this mailbox image and used a scrap scallop oval punch as a template for my cloud backgroud. I sponged soft sky ink and baja breeze. I colored my image with prisma pencils and blended with OMS. The DP is from K&Company's Saffron collection. I used the floral fantasy CB folder for the red panel. The sentiment is from SU's Sweet Little Sentiments set. Don't you LOVE that new modern label punch?
This is also for this week's Sketch challenge over on SCS.

Remember to leave a link at The Digi Shack to you card using Mr. Linky. Also when uploading to on-line galleries use keywords TDS, TDSC014, or thedigishack (all one word) so we can see your work!

I am sorry I have not posted as much this week! Things are crazy around here. We were supposed to go up north again for a week, but the weather forcast does not look good! Now we are contemplating going out west or to Florida! We want to leave Friday or Saturday so we better make a plan soon, huh?

Have a great day!

Christmas a la Kelly!

I made this card for today's featured stamper on SCS Schirmcat (Kelly). I love Kelly's primitive Americana style. I CASE'd her card HERE. I basically changed stamps, paper and colors but kept her awesome layout.

My card base is Kraft and the DP is unknown. The square in the middle is Always artichoke which I scored every 1/2 inch with my scor pal. The stamps are Verve's Poinsettia Christmas. I added some punched pine boughs behind the poinsettia and tied some hemp twine around the middle panel.

Kelly is a lot of fun if you know her from SCS. I wanted to make a Christmas card to honor her and her famous "Naughty & Nice" list from this past Christmas! I was fortunate enough to be on her "Nice" list! LOL!
Congrats to Kelly for being this week's featured stamper! HUGS!

EIC44-Verbena Custom Blends

Time for another Etsy Inspired challenge. This week's shop is Verbena Custom Blends. This shop is full of yummy, luscious soaps and creams. They honestly look good enough to eat! This shop is closed while the owner is on vacation so the link will take you to her sold items.
I was inspired by the soft, feminine colors. I wanted to reflect that in a card. My card base is white, and the DP is from Memory Box. I used Certainly Celery and my nesties and oval scallop punch. The stamps are from Unity's June KOTM. I colored the image with my SU markers. The ribbon is from SU.

If you participate in this week's challenge please use keyword EIC44 when uploading to online galleries. Also make sure to link you card HERE for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to this store! Tricycles are a great mode of transportation when you have a Hip Hop Hangover!

Happy Hip Hop Hangover! I made this card for Jeanne's Black and White background challenge. The DP is Basicgrey's Ambrosia. The stamps are from Unity's Everyday Adorable set. Love that set! So cute and versatile.
I am so excited to be back with my paper and stamps! I didn't have time to pack a little stamp kit on my trip, so I have been itching to get inky!

Hubby has some interviews coming up this week, so keep your fingers crossed! One of them is pretty close to home, so that would be awesome! It has been nice having him around and being able to take off on a spur of the moment unplanned trip!

Hope you all have a great weekend!

I'm Back!

I'm back! Today's Chirstmas in July challenge on SCS was appropriate because it felt like Christmas on our vacation! It was pretty chilly and windy in the U.P.! I never took a sweater or sweatshirt off the whole time! This didn't stop my son from putting on a wet suit and swimming in the 52 degree water! YIKES! We had to make him get out when his lips started turning blue! We still had a wonderful time and will be going back in another week! Hopefully the weather is a little bit nicer then!

I used the brayered sky technique on this card. I masked the moon and snow drifts. I used a white gel pen to add snow to the tree limbs. Added some glitter to give the snow drifts dimension. I used soft sky, baja breeze and blue bayou for the sky. The stamp set is SU's Season of Friendship.

It's good to be back in the world of stamping! Hope you all are well!

Hugs!

Hi! This week's challenge for The Digi Shack is a patriotic color challenge. Use Navy, Red, Light blue and white. I cheated a bit, the light blue is the shading in her pants and jacket! I colored this Lani image with prisma pencils and blended with OMS. The base of my card is night of navy and the image is matted with real red. I plan on sending this card to my BIL, who serves in the Army.
If you want to play along please link your card to The Digi Shack Blog and also use keyword TDSC12 when uploading to online galleries.

REMINDER: We are looking for new DT members for The Digi Shack! The call for the DT ends July 10th. For more info on the DT call, please click HERE.

I will have a post on Saturday for you! Hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend! Be safe and have fun!
