FWF-Butterfly Kisses

Hello!  Today I made a layout of my sweet little nieces.  I just love these photos, which were taken last June right after Sarah was born.  I used a sentiment and butterfly stamp from the Unity February in store kit.  You can purchase this  kit at Paper Maniac.  After coloring my butterflies, I used my stardust gelly roll pen to add some glittery highlights.  I also sponged some Lumiere paint on the edges of the photos.  I plan on journaling in the white space toward the bottom of the page.  The DP is paper from We R Memory Keepers Hoopla collection.  I just cut out some of the waves in the colors I wanted from a sheet of DP, and placed them on the page so that they fit, but not completely together.

For all of you early birds, check back later because I am going to try to get better photos of this page in the sunlight!  I always struggle with photographing my SB layouts in the house.  Maybe that is why I scrap more in the warmer months?!  Any pointers?

Thanks for stopping by!

Emily

Sweet layout!

Photographing layouts is challenging. I have found that using a large white piece of paper or posterboard and placing it on the floor by my sliding glass door in the morning, then setting the layout down on the paper and photographing from above is the best way to get a good photo of my scrapbook pages.
