Happy Mother's Day BLOG CANDY!

The WINNER of my blog candy is.............

EMILY KEATON!  Congrats to Emily!  Send me your email and I will get your blog candy in the mail to you! :)

Happy Mother's Day!  Here is a card I made for the Unity Hip Hop sketch this week.  I flipped the sketch.  I also made this card for this week's inspiration challenge on SCS.  The stamps are from Unity's April KOTM.
I hope all of you have a FABULOUS day with your loved ones!  We are going to my sister's house for a combo dinner/birthday party to celebrate Mother's Day and my nieces birthday this evening.  This afternoon I am hanging with my boys at home!
My oldest son made me a book of poetry.  On one of the pages he had to write how old I was, how tall, how much I weigh, etc.  He wrote that I was 6 feet tall and 120 pounds!!! Don't I wish!  For the question, "What does your mom cook?"  He wrote, "everything".  I try to cook dinner most nights of the week and sit down as a family, so this one made me happy!  Hubby got me a gift certificate to Mitchell's-a spa that I love to go to locally.  What did you gals get for Mother's Day or how are you going to spend your day?  Let me know in this post and you can win some blog candy!  If you are a follower of my blog, just let me know and you can get a second chance to win!  A random winner will be chosen on Friday!
Here is what will be included:

ippity set Moonbeams & Heartstrings
MFT set Congrats all Around
Dog Gone Stamps vampire boy
Unity wood slide flower
Heidi Swapp lemonade gel blossoms
Artful INKables set Love Ya Lots
2 stampology sets- Thankful 4 and Playing in the leaves
3 Studio G clear sets

Thanks for stopping by!

Emily

First - great card! Love it! Second, thanks for the chance to win some goodies! I'm taking it easy today. My own Mom is coming for a visit in a couple week, and I need to finish getting things ready! Having her still around and able to visit is a bonus for me!

Happy Mother's Day! Fabulous card--love the design and beautiful colors!

Sadly, this Mommy is doing laundry today. But, my husband bought me a sweet "mother and child" figurine for my collection, and I'll get to spend all next Saturday stamping. My little one is happy and healthy, so that makes it the best Mother's Day! Thanks for the chance at blog candy!

Hiya Em and Happy Mother's Day! I follow your blog, of course, GF. I am doing nothing today but slaving my kids to do all of the chores I blew off or couldn't do during the carpet installation from hell this week. The only thing they've done so far is trash my kitchen cooking for me. However, I did get a handmade card made out of graph paper by my 15-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter who are a little less than 2 years apart so you can imagine how they cut on each other. My son signs his card with a heart and "Mom, I know this looks more like a butt." Now he's walking in my office with his laptop playing me a "special song," and it turns out to be this scream-o stuff that sounds like a pig vomiting. I told him "Don't you make me take a Xanax today." It's only 1:30 here too. The rest of the day should be quite interesting and filled with fun and laughs. I think I'll have my daughter pick me up my favorite food from Rafferty's and then watch Avatar and eat a huge bowl of ice cream with my kids later this evening.

All of your work is awesome and you're a huge inspiration to me. I hope you have a very blessed and Happy Mother's Day!

Well, you know my plans for the day, *wink*...Morgan made me a necklace and a story called "Hats off to Moms", about all the hats moms wear. My favorite was, "My mom is the BEST because she loves hugs". Too sweet!

Happy Mother's Day, sweet Emily!

Today, Dustin made me some breakfast then we headed off to the zoo with the kids. We had Sonic for lunch and they got me an EXTRA cherry limeaide to take home. We were supposed to go out to dinner, but they told me to nap when I got home and I didn't want up until 645pm! Yikes! And for a gift I got some Copics and a homemade card.

Hi from one Emily to another!! Sounds like you had a wonderful Mother's Day, Emily!! I had a terrific one with my family, too. I got some cute stickers and a tape runner from my daughter and son and some great new goodies from PTI from my hubby--including two Button Bits sets, which I've been drooling over for some time!!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful card!!

Emily, this card is gorgeous, and to think I had to pass on the April KOM...ugh! Your colors are so vibrant...love this! And what an awesome book to cherish from your son!
For Mother's Day, I practically spent all day chatting with my sisters by phone (who all live in another State) and then my son cooked a nice dinner for me. Yes, he's 14 and had to ask me a few things about stir frying, so I had to stay close by.., but it was fun for him to do this! It's a tradition, that I don't let him buy me anything ever and he has to just give me a big hug, which I treasure (along with his homemade card)! Thanks for the chance at your awesome candy! And enjoy the spa day...woohoo...getting pampered!

Love your sweet card! Mother's Day was special because I got to talk to each of my children and hear them say they love me. I also talked to my own mom. That's what Mother's Day is all about! We don't do gifts, we just love on each other.
