H{ippity} Hop-Your Smile Lifts Me!

Hello!  Happy Hippity Hop!  Here is a card I thought I would share that I made a couple of weeks ago for the WCMD challenge with the theme of "soar".  I knew right away that I wanted to use my Webster's Pages, Postcards From Paris paper and this ippity sentiment.  I added some seam binding and bling and colored in the Smile.  The sentiment is from the set, Quotes a la Happy.

On a side note...It is very disheartening when someone totally CASE's your card and then gives you ZERO credit for the idea.  I know it happens all the time in our paper crafting corner of the world, but it has happened to me more than once this month.  I am always so flattered when someone likes my work enough to CASE me, but it is a whole different story entirely when someone takes that idea and work as there own.

Just me blowing off steam....

I am off to go look at some ippity and Unity goodness!

Emily

Beautiful card!! I hope it wasn't me who cased you without giving credit!! I totally did that to one of Karen's cards and didn't even know it until I posted on the WCMD challenges!! I felt so bad!! My memory is not what it used to be and I see so many cool things. Sometimes my subconscious brings me a card and my head totally does not know where it came from. Hopefully whoever did it was an honest mistake and not intentional. Big Hugs!!

Truly a GORGEOUS card Emily! I love how you use your bling...very elegant! Sorry to hear about the 'caseing'...I would hope it was someone who just couldn't remember where they got the idea...I did that once, and one other time I happened to do something similar to another card, but I truly had not seen theirs and didn't case it. But it's a great reminder for all of us to think about it! Your work is always fabulous!

Oohhh, aaaahhhh, this is such a beautiful card, Emily! I really love the bling.

That totally sucks about the constant casing this month. Yuck! I have another blog friend who had something even worse happen to her. She had a card of hers copied and published!!
