Greetings from Max...

Hello! This is Max. My mommy is crazzzzzy busy making some projects, so I decided to take her camera and do my own photo shoot.  Unfortunately, this is the only photo that turned out, but hey...it's hard photographing one's self.  You can see my brother Luke in the background laughing at me.

My mommy says to tell you all "hi" and she will be back in blog land tomorrow!

Hugs!

Eggs2hunt by The Stamps Of Life....

Hello! Today I have a card using some super cute stamps from The Stamps Of Life.  This card uses stamps from the set, eggs2hunt.  I ran the baja breeze panel through the cuttlebug with the swiss dots embossing folder.  The yellow is from my scrap bin, but I think it is Pink Paislee and the pink for the egg is American Crafts.  I used the banner die from PTI for the Happy Easter sentiment and finished off the bottom with some baker's twine.  I used a white gel pen for the centers of the flower on my egg.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you all are having a great weekend!

FWF-Hello Girlfriend!

Hello girlfriends!  I made this card for yesterday's What To Use challenge over on SCS.  The challenge was to use gray as your card base.  I love the way this turned out!  I am going to give to a friend who just had a birthday. Her bathroom is pink, black and gray and very chic! She will appreciate this card with the shoes and the colors.
The shoe stamps are from the Unity January 2011 KOTM and the sentiment from the October 2010 KOTM.

Rainbow Hello!

Hello! I made this card using the stamp set, words2color by The Stamps Of Life. It was perfect for today's CAS challenge on SCS-stamp your own background.  I love stamping a word repeatedly to make my own patterned paper.  I simply stamped the "hello" in the colors of the rainbow and added some baker's twine!  Easy Peasy!

FWF and OLW41-It's Christmas?

Hello! Today I have a one layer card for you.  This is for Susan's One Layer Wednesday challenge. This week's challenge is to make a one layer Christmas card using only green and red.  I used stamps from Unity's November 2010 KOTM.  I scored a frame around the design with my scor-pal and added a bit of baker's twine to the bottom.  It seemed a bit weird to make a Christmas card with the nicer weather we have been having, but I can add this to my stash for next Christmas!  I used Ridinghood Red and Old Olive to stamp my frame and sentiment.

Love One Another....

Accessories:  vintage button, May Arts pink burlap string, Tim Holtz memo pin, recycled tag

Hello! Today I have a card for you using some great product found in the Paper Maniac store.  All of the new CHA products are starting to arrive and don't forget the huge clearance sale that is going on!  The current discount is 40% off all products in the clearance section!  GREAT DEALS!
On this card, I used some Pixie DP from Memory Box and stamps from Flourishes.  I stamped some Cherry Blossom branches onto the DP and the tag in Old Paper ink and also some of the smaller words-endure and happiness.  I did a lot of distressing to the paper edges with some scissors and  my fingernail!  I also inked the edges and did some tearing and re-layering in the bottom right corner of the card.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! I guess I should have saved a Valentine for today's blog post, but this will have to do! I made this card for the featured stamper on SCS yesterday.  I CASED this card from Willow01 HERE.  I kept her basic layout, but changed the patterned paper, stamps and colors.  I have oodles of Cosmo Cricket's DeLovely paper in my stash and thought it was time to break it out and hope for spring.  I love the bright bold spring colors of this collection.
Yesterday was sunny and in the 50's, so we bundled up and played outside most of the day. Fun stuff!  I only wish it had been about ten degrees warmer, and I would have opened every window in my house to let in some fresh air.  I LOVE that first day at the end of winter or beginning of spring when it is warm enough to let out all of the stagnant, winter air.  Sooooooo refreshing!  Maybe that day is not too far away!

Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Hello!  This is a simple little card I made for this week's sketch challenge on SCS.  I used some paper from Cosmo Cricket's Togetherness collection.  I sewed some old buttons on with red thread and the sentiment is from labels2use by The Stamps Of Life.  I really love this layout and put this in my book of favorites!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

New Releases from The Stamps Of Life! I love them a LATTE!

Hello! Today I have three different cards for you using the three newest sets from The Stamps Of Life
The first card uses eggs2hunt.  This set goes perfectly with the other TSOL Easter sets. I used the masking technique to stack the eggs!
The second card uses stamps from coffee4two. OMGosh! LOVE this set! Just look at that big coffee cup! FABULOUS! I drink SEVERAL cups of joe a day, so this set is one of my favorites to date!  I paper pieced the different sections of the cup. I ran the cup cozie through my crimper to give it a corrugated look. I popped the lid up with pop dots to add some dimension.

Make sure you go check these fabulous sets out! If you are a club member-only $10.95 with $1.00 shipping!!!! If you aren't a club member, you can still get these sets for $12.95 (still a great price) and shipping is always $1.00 in the US!

Hello, Everybody!

He is back, so this coming week I will have lots of posts for you!

I will be watching the Super Bowl and rooting for the Packers tonight.  Don't really follow the Packers, but I HATE THE STEELERS!

If you like football, who will you be rooting for tonight?

Let me know and also tell me why you like or loathe football.  I will pick one random winner to win the Sweet Thoughts of Spring ippity set below:

FWF-Love, love, love you more than....

Hello! TGIF! I have had a busy, busy week. More on that tomorrow!

Today I made a card using the fabulous technique that Emily Leiphart demonstrated on her blog HERE.  This is so fun and easy to do.  I chose several different shades of pink for this card.  I started with the lightest shade and worked my way down to the darkest shade.  I stamped my hearts in black repeatedly down the side.  Both the sentiment and the hearts are from the Unity January 2011 KOTM.

Make sure you go check out Emily's video tutorial on this technique!

Thinking of...Fillable Frames #2!

Hi there! Today I have a card I made for Tuesday's color challenge over on SCS-River Rock, gray and white.  I pulled out my PTI Fillable Frames #2. I also used my houndstooth CB folder for the card base. I left a tiny bit of empty space at the top and also some space at the bottom. I scored a line to separate the clean space from the embossed space. I added some gray satin ribbon and VOILA! An easy peasy card!

CAS Cherry Blossoms....

Paper:  Kraft, white
Ink:  pink, brown, Old Paper distress ink, versamark
Accessories:  May Arts Ivory burlap string, button

Hello!  Today's card features some fabulous Flourishes stamps.  I wanted to show you that you don't always have to color these intricate images in to make a beautiful card.  I stamped the large blossom branch onto the kraft base with Versamark.  On my white square panel, I stamped the smallest blossom branch in pink and then stamped my sentiment in black over top of that.
I didn't want to over embellish, so I just tied some ivory burlap string at the bottom and added a button.

The progressive SALE discount at Paper Maniac, is up to 30% now! Get your goodies while they last. Once the clearance items are gone, they will not be restocked!  Making room for all of those CHA releases. Can not wait!

The Stamps Of Life-Bunny4Easter release!

Hello!  Today I have a card for you, using the new club set from The Stamps Of Life.  This set is called Bunny4Easter.  I am so in love with that adorable bunny image.  The great part is that you can put several different sentiments inside the sign he is holding.  You can check out this set HERE.  The eggs are stamped with the set Eggs4Easter, which is still available for purchase.
I had a lot of people ask if they could copy the image I provided the last release to use as digi files and the answer is NO! From now on, I will just direct you to the website to see the thumbnail just so there isn't any confusion. ;)
Even if you are not a club member, you can still purchase this cutie set! Remember...shipping is always $1 a set in the US!

We are covered in ice here! Boys are home from school (again)! My crafting time has taken a serious hit with all of these snow/ice days! LOL!
What's the weather like where you live?
