TSOL: Bless Chew!

Hello! Today I have a card using the bubblegum4me set from The Stamps Of Life.  I colored the machine with red copic markers.  After stamping each gum ball, I added some glossy accents over each one.  The border is doodled using a fine point sharpie marker.

Heartfelt Creations: You're So Special

Hello! Today I have a Heartfelt Creations card to share with you.  I used the Sun Kissed Fleur Background stamp with an emboss resist technique to create the background.  I love the vintage banner image, and I wanted the background to be subtle, so it didn't take away from it.  You can find the complete instructions and product list for recreating this card on the Heartfelt Creations blog.  You can also find many more amazing projects by the design team on the blog.

TSOL: Hello?

Hello! I have another phone card using new stamps from The Stamps Of Life.  I added some rhinestones and sequins to jazz up the clean and simple design.  I used Stephanie's inks in Guava and Licorice for the sentiment and phones.
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend!  I plan on hanging out with the family and some neighbors.  We are having fall like weather with a lot of sun, so I see lots of campfires in our future!

Be Proud Of Your Spots....

Hello! Today I have a card to share using stamps from The Stamps Of Life.  The bug and sentiment are from the set, moreladybugs2love.  The grass is from the Easter set, eggs4Easter.  I paper pieced the bug body and added some google eyes for fun.  The patterned paper is from my scrap bin, but I believe they are both Basic Grey.

Clearsnap guest blogger!

Hello!  I am happy to be the guest blogger over at Clearsnap today! My card today features inks and sprays by Stephanie Barnard for Clearsnap.  I love the look of sprays for creating wonderful backgrounds.  On this card, I used sprays in Bubblegum and Grape. I used an emboss resist technique by stamping the frame6background stamp in Top Boss embossing ink, and then sprinkling with clear embossing powder. I then used a heat tool to set.
Next, I sprayed my Bubblegum and Grape sprays over the embossed panel.  I used a cloth to wipe away the excess.  I continued to add spray and repeat this process until I got the color variation I liked.  Next, I added some black sequins using Glue Gloss to adhere them to the solid images in the background.

I used my Stephanie Barnard/Sizzix Fancy Labels #4 die to cu,t and then stamped the label and sentiment using the labels4cutting set (TSOL) with Licorice ink.  Licorice is my new "go to" black dye ink. I love the deep, true black you get when using this ink pad.   I used foam dots to adhere the label to my card base.
I hope you you give this technique a try using your spray inks!  It's so much fun and I love that you get an unexpected, different look every time!

Hello, little tree....

Hello! Today I have a card using stamps and dies from The Stamps Of Life.  After stamping my tree and leaves, I created a little burlap wrap for the "roots" of my seedling.  I tied a tiny tag around it and stamped my sentiment on the tag.  I used the trees2build and minitags2cut with matching dies for this card.

Heartfelt Creations: Vintage Wedding Layout

Hi, there! Today I am sharing a vintage wedding layout using stamps, paper and dies from Heartfelt Creations.  The vintage photo was a photograph in my "stash".  I love grabbing old photos up when I go antiquing.  I love this one so much, that I actually made a copy of it so that I can save the original.
Make sure you stop by the Heartfelt Creations blog to find more inspiring projects from the design team!

TSOL: Conversation bubbles galore!

Hello!  Today I have two cards using stamps from The Stamps Of Life.  The owl and branch are from the owls2love set and the speech bubble is from the new set, talk4phone.  I added some pink dots from Basic Grey.  The owl is paper pieced with a scrap of paper from Basic Grey's Hey There collection.
This next card uses some of Stephanie's Spray ink from Clearsnap in Grape. I then stamped the speech bubbles in Licorice ink.  I used some of my washi tape to attach it to the card base.  After I sprayed the center panel, I added water droplets to lighten the color and give it a more muted effect.

TSOL: Call me...maybe?

Hello, my friends! I wanted to share some cards I made using the newest release from The Stamps Of Life called, phone4you.  I paper pieced the phone. I used paper and a chipboard element from Basic Grey's "Hey, You" line.
On my next card, I actually used a card from one of my Studio Calico Project Life kits.  I stamped the phone outline in Licorice ink and the solid part of the phone in Banana ink.  I attached the top of the Project Life card using washi tape and used baker's twine for the telephone cord.

See the wood in the background? That is a sample of what my new wood floors look like! Installation is complete in my dining room and what will soon be my craft studio.  Kitchen remodel starts next week!

Heartfelt Creations: Lighthouses and beaches...

Hello! Today I have a couple more cards to share using images and paper from the Balmy Breeze collection by Heartfelt Creations.  I just love the lighthouse image above. It reminds me of Northern Michigan. I colored it with Prisma pencils and matted the image with Balmy Breeze patterned paper.
On the next card, I created the background using emboss resist.  I colored the seashell image with Prisma pencils.  Makes me want to head straight to the beach!

Make sure you check out the Heartfelt Creations blog for more inspiration.  They are also announcing the new DT today! So glad to be able to continue on with this company!
