Heartfelt Creations: Winter Wonderland....

Hello!  Today I have a Christmas card to share with you.  I used stamps from Heartfelt Creations Gateway To The Seasons collection.  I love the beautiful ornate looking dies in this collection.  Perfect for making a sentiment pop off the card.  You can find the complete product list and instructions for recreating this card below:

HCPC 3543-Winter Season PreCut Set
HCD 737 Ornate Gateway Die
HCPD1 234 Daphne Paper Collection
other products: Scor Pal, 1/4" Scor Tape, Kraft cardstock, white cardstock, Old Paper distress ink, Artichoke ink by Clearsnap, May Arts green burlap twine, foam dimensional dots, tiny rhinestones.
Cut kraft cardstock to measure 4.25" x 11". Use Scor Pal to score along the 5.5" mark. Fold at score so that your card base measures 4.25" x 5.5". Cut a white cardstock panel that measures 4" x 5.25".  Stamp snowflake image in Old Paper distress ink. Sponge edges with Old Paper distress ink and distress with scissors or fingernail.  Adhere to center of kraft base.  Stamp sentiment onto a white cardstock circle that measures 2 1/8" in diameter.  Mat with a circle cut from green Daphne patterned paper.  Cut two ornate dies from red Daphne patterned paper using die from Ornate Gateway set.  Center both of the dies on card and then layer your sentiment circles.  I used foam dots to add dimension under the white sentiment circle.  Add three tiny rhinestones to the centers of the three snowflakes.  Make a loopy bow at the top with burlap twine.

Got Ice cream?

Hello! Today I am sharing a card using newly released dies from The Stamps Of Life.  LOVE this ice cream stamp set, and the matching dies make it all the more scrumptious.  I added some sprinkles glitter to the top of my cone.

TSOL/Sizzix:Birthday Banners

Hello!  I have a couple of cards to share using the Sizzix Framelits Banners #2 set by Stephanie Barnard.  This set comes with a variety of banner dies and matching stamps.  The card above uses a bold floral pattern and the small flowers that also come with this set.  This set is available on the Sizzix and The Stamps Of Life sites.
The second card uses the same banner, sentiment and flower, yet has a more soft, feminine look to it.  Both cards are CAS, but very different.  Both were very quick and easy to put together, too!

TSOL: Lemonade2drink

I just love the new lemonade sets from The Stamps Of Life!  They are perfect for summertime cards!  The first card uses both the lemonade2drink and morelemonade2stamp sets.  To get the variation in the pink ink, I took a small sponge and removed some of the ink before stamping it onto the glass.  I wanted to make it look like condensation on the glass. I also used a white Prisma pencil to color over the ice cubes to make them look lighter.
This next card, uses just the morelemonade2stamp set.  I actually used one of my Project Life cards (midnight collection). I stamped the sentiment in black onto the card and stamped the tiny lemon half under the sentiment. Easy Peasy lemon squeezey! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

TSOL: Signs4words

Hi, there! Today I have some cards using a new release from The Stamps Of Life called sign4words. I love the different fonts and the cool frame. You can use the sentiments in the frame, or by themselves.  In the card above, I used some of Stephanie's spray by Clearsnap in Banana.  I then rubbed gesso over some of it to tone it down.  The sequins just pull in some more of the black from the sentiment.
This next card was quick and easy.  I sponged some distress ink (Old Paper) around a circle of white cardstock.  I then added a fabric flower.  I bought these in a pack at Joanne's several months ago.  I stamped the "thanks" in Licorice ink and added a strip of pearls.  Super classy card that was made in minutes!
The last card uses paper and a die cut from Basic Grey's Fiction collection.  I added some butcher's twine to the top and stamped the sentiment in Licorice ink.  I love how it looks like an old book or journal.

TSOL: Building Our Friendship...

Hello!  Here is a quick little card using sentiment stamp from The Stamps of Life and a hexagon die from The Stamps Of Life.  The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye.  I distressed the edges of the papers and added some burlap string.
It is a cloudy, rainy kind of day here.  Perfect day for getting caught up on some projects.  Maybe I will add some laundry and cleaning into that mix...maybe not!

Have a great day!

Heartfelt Creations: Nautical note...

Hello!  I can't believe that Father's Day is right around the corner.  I thought this would make a perfect card for my hubby.  I used Heartfelt Creations stamps to create this card.  It is hard to see, but I stamped a ship wheel on the kraft base for a background.  You can find the complete product list and instructions for recreating this card on the Heartfelt Creations blog.

On a side note, my kitchen renovation is almost complete! I will get back into a regular blogging routine soon.  I miss visiting all of your blogs and leaving comments. Thanks for bearing with me!
