Heartfelt Creations October Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to Heartfelt Creations October blog hop. I just had to use the pretty, fall papers from the Beary Fun Retreat paper collection! Fall is my favorite time of year, and I love the earthy tones in this collection.  Sadly, this collection is retiring in December, so go get it while it lasts! Heartfelt Creations August Blog Hop

 

 

 

This week I made a mini album using the Sugar Hollow paper pad.  I seriously LOVE the paper collections from Heartfelt Creations. They are packed full of everything you need to make beautiful projects. Even when I do a big project, I still have a ton of paper left over. I used a tutorial for this mini album that I bought many years ago, however, there a lot of free mini album tutorials out there on You Tube and on blogs.  I added  plenty of tucks, pockets, flaps and tags to add your photos or journaling.

My card for this month's hop, features stamps, papers and dies from the Peacock Paisley collection. I stamped my peacock image in Bermuda Bay ink by Stampin' Up onto white cardstock, and cut with the matching die. I layered the gorgeous papers from this collection and popped my die cut peacock image with foam dots. I added some gems to the centers of the flowers and layered a sentiment from the paper collection on top.
I love to color images, but it takes me quite a long time! I love being able to use an intricate image stamped in one color on white, layered with rich colored papers. You can finish with a beautiful card in mnutes. :)
