EIC99-Banners!

Time for another EIC challenge!  Our 99th challenge!  That means we are one week away from our wonderful 100th challenge celebration!  We will be giving away MAJOR prizes, so you will definitely want to participate!

This week's shop for your inspiration is Becky Kazana.  She has some very vintage looking wedding cake toppers and party supplies for your viewing (or buying) pleasure!  I was inspired by the birthday banner below!  I used The Stamps Of Life set, banners4all for my birthday pennant.  I used paper from bo bunny to paper piece the banners.  I added some May Arts burlap string in the corners and doodled a border around the edge.

Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps.  They have some adorable digi images in their shop!
If you would like to play along with the challenge, make sure you use keyword EIC99 when uploading to online galleries.  Also make sure you link your project to the EIC blog HERE.  Ashley will pick random winners next Friday!  Someone will win a cute set of note cards from Becky Kazana and someone will win 7 free digis from the Bugaboo store!

Hope you are inspired to make something fabulous!

FWF-Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star...

Hello!  TGIF!  Today I have a card made with some stamps from the July KOTM!  i {heart} this kit!  I have had a lot of fun using it this past week!  I made this card for this week's color challenge over on SCS.  The colors were daffodil, pear, and grape!  Thought those colors would be good for a new baby kind of card.

I will keep it short and sweet so that you can see all of the Unity inspiration today!

Have a great weekend!

Robots2build-The Stamps Of Life

Hello!  I made these two cards with the robots2build set from The Stamps Of Life.  Being the mother of 3 boys, I LOVE this set!  My first card, I colored the robot with copics and used a journal block from Cosmo Cricket's Cogsmo line, which goes PERFECTLY with this set.  I love that you can build so many different robots with this set!

I posted a scrapbook page using this set too.  You can find that post HERE.

The second card is a bit more girly.  I used the gear stamps to create flowers!  How cool is that?  I also used the grass and the bird wing stamp from the eggs4easter set to make the leaves.  I LOVE how all of Stephanie's stamps just seem to go together!  It's super easy and very affordable to build quite an awesome stamp collection too, at her amazing prices.

CAS77-One Fish, Two Fish...

Hello!  Today's CAS challenge over on SCS is to be inspired by the Dr. Seuss book-One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish  Blue Fish.  My oldest son loved that book, and I remember reading it to him over and over again!  My twins are not as into it as he was!

The fish stamp is from The Stamps Of Life set, summer4fun.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you get a chance to play in the challenge!

A quick CAS card...

Hello!  Today I have a quickie card for you.  The butterflies are actually a self adhesive die cut border from K&Co.  I think I have talked before about how I love having die cut borders available for quick cards like this.  The sentiment is a stamp from Unity's July KOTM, which is one of my favorite kits to date!  If you haven't gotten this kit already, I highly recommend it!  LOTS of possibilities!

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

EIC98-Inspired by Bees!

Hello!  Time for another Etsy Inspired Challenge!  This week the store for your inspiration is EmenGee Designs.  They have some darling little coin purses and earrings to get your creative juices flowing!  I was inspired by the cute little bee coin purse below.  My card base is crushed curry.  I used a vinyl sentiment and bee die cut from EAD designs.  I paper pieced a trail down the side to mimic the path of the bumblebee!

I hope you play along with the challenge this week.  Remember to use keyword EIC98 when uploading to online galleries.  Also make sure that you link your creation to the EIC blog HERE.  Ashley will pick a random winner next Friday.  The winner will receive 3 free digi images of their choice from our wonderful sponsor this week, Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps.

One other lucky winner will win the cute little bee coin purse in the photo above!  Two chances to win this week, so get busy!

Hope you are inspired to make wonderful things!

FWF-Got my new KOTM just in time...

I was excited that my KOTM arrived in the mail yesterday before I made a card for FWF!  This is probably one of my favorite kits.  I LOVE all of the different themes and possibilities with this kit! LOVE it!  As soon as I saw this flower image I knew I wanted to make a black, white and pink birthday card with it.  I kept the layout simple to showcase that fab image!  Added a button to the center, some black satin ribbon and faux stitching at the bottom!

The Stamps Of Life scrapbook page!

Hi there!  Today I have a scrapbook page for you! GASP!  These photos were taken of my son, Luke last summer.  He is so darn mischievous!  He is also sweet as pie!  I used a new set from The Stamps Of Life called robots2build for this one along with some Cogsmo paper from Cosmo Cricket!  The sentiment and the gears are stamped in black and I doodled a border around the top of the page.  I also stamped the screw heads on the ends of the red panels.

How cute is this set?!?  LOVE it!
