Boo 2 You!!!

Hi there! Sharing another Julie Nutting doll tag today. I actually made this several weeks ago, but am just now getting around to posting it. The actual tag is made from upcycled cardboard. I used acrylic paints to add some details to the front and back. The doll is paper pieced using scraps of old Halloween designer paper. I colored in some shadowing and hair details. Added some flowers, leaves and the sentiment.
Perfect to tie onto a treat bag for your favorite little gal this Halloween!

You Are My Sunshine...

Hello! I made another Julie Nutting doll tag. I love paper piecing stamped images back together. I used the "Dita" doll stamp and some Maggie Holmes paper by American Craft.  The sunshine stamp and sentiment are from Unity Stamp Company. The flowers were in my stash and are probably from Prima too!
I used Prisma pencils to shade after piecing the doll. I think these tags will be perfect to save and hang on a gift bag when the occasion arises.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Collect Beautiful Moments...

Exited to share my first Prima Julie Nutting doll. I created a tag from some cardboard. I paper pieced her skin tones using old papers from a book. The rest of the patterned papers are from Crate Paper's Bloom collection. The pink flower was made using dyed coffee filters. I added Prill beads to the center. Not sure what I will do with this ginormous tag, but it was so much fun to make!

He watches over you...

Hello. Sharing some bible journaling today. I am currently working on a two week devotional from Illustrated Faith. It is the I am strong kit. This journaling is based on Psalm 121.  I used watercolors from Prima's tropicals collection. I outlined everything with a black pitt pen. I also added some white flecks with a white gel pen to the orange sky. Here is Psalm 121:

Psalm 121

A song of ascents.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
    where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you—
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm—
    he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.

HOPE and LOVE...

Hi, there!  I have a shabby chic kind of card to share with you today.  I used some patterned paper from Prima called, London Market. LOVE!  The sentiment is from the Unity/ippity set All Things Are Possible.  I added some lace and burlap twine to the top and an old button in the middle.
This card will be going to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.  SCS is having an entire month of challenges devoted to card donations for patients and their families.  Such a good cause!  Even if you can not participate in the challenges (prizes involved), if you have a bunch of beautiful, homemade cards laying around, why not package them up and send them to Texas? Just sayin'...

This card is for the Drunken Stamper's challenge- to use buttons!

We had a great time camping with our neighbors, this weekend.  Here is a photo of the kiddos! Will is in the red sweatshirt in the back. Luke and Max are in the front in the orange sweatshirts.  We took a haunted hayride, carved pumpkins and had lots of laughs with friends.  We managed to squeeze in a football playoff game on Saturday, too (and we won)!

Thanks for stopping by!
