Heartfelt Creations: To A Beautiful You...

Hello!  Today I have a Heartfelt Creations project to share with you.  I just love the vintage images in the Sunny Days collection.  The worn and weathered patterned papers go beautifully with the images in this collection.  I did some paper pleating under the twine at the top.  You can find the product list and instructions on recreating this card below.

other supplies: charcoal cardstock, white cardstock, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Ranger distress inks in Walnut Stain and Old Paper, grey baker's twine, half pearl, vintage button
Fold charcoal base so that it measures 4.25" x 5.5" when folded.  Cut a 4" x 5.25" piece of Sunny Days patterned paper.  Stamp vintage water pump in lower left corner in black ink.  Ink edges of panel with distress inks and distress edges of paper with scissors or fingernail.  Stamp sentiment onto white cardstock and cut out individual words.  Ink edges with distress ink and adhere to lower right corner next to water pump image.  Adhere panel to center of card base.  Cut a strip of Sunny Days patterned paper that measures 12" x 1.5".  Crumple the paper up and accordian fold.  You do not want it to look perfect, but old and shabby.  I sponged distress inks on the strip after I pleated it.  Adhere to top of card and trim any extra on each side.  Tie Baker's twine into a loopy bow around the pleated paper and add a button and pearl to the center.

Heartfelt Creations: Beautiful You...

Hello!  Today I am sharing a scrapbook layout made with Heartfelt Creations products.  I love the vintage looking images in their Sunny Days collection.  I am a sucker for vintage photos, and love to use Sepia on my photos.  The colors in this collection work perfectly with aged photos.  You can find the product list and instructions for recreating this layout below.

other supplies:  white cardstock, page from an old book, vintage button, May Arts burlap twine, Distress inks in Old Paper and Walnut Stain
Use a 12x12 piece of Sunny Days patterned paper for your layout base. Cut a 6x6 piece of Sunny Days patterned paper (small blue floral print) and mount your photo in the center.  Add a sentiment block underneath the photo.  Use Decorative Butterfly Corner die and white cardstock to create corner piece, and adhere in upper right corner of 6x6 panel.  Cut a 3.5" x 7.75" piece of white cardstock.  Stamp all three of the small floral motifs from the Vintage Watering Can set in Old Paper ink.  Ink and distress the edges.  Stamp watering can image in Walnut stain on the bottom of this panel.  Stamp "beautiful you" in Walnut stain ink along the side.  Layer both panels on top of each other toward center of 12x12 paper.  Cut strips of text from an old book page and accordian fold.  Ink edges with distress ink and adhere under sentiment.  Tie burlap twine into a bow on a button and adhere to center of pleated text.

Heartfelt Creations: Birthday Butterfly

Hi, there!  I am sharing a card today using products from Heartfelt Creations Sunny Days collection.  I love the wonderful journal and sentiment boxes they include in their paper collections.  They are perfect for both cards and scrapbooking.  You can find the instructions and product list for recreating this card below.

other supplies:  white, black, and green cardstock; Mellow Moss ink (SU), Old Paper Distress ink by Ranger, black seam binding, foam pop dots
Fold green cardstock base so it measures 4.25" x 5.5".  Cut black cardstock mat to measure 4 1/8" x 5 3/8".  Cut white panel to measure 4" x 5.25".  Stamp butterfly image in both upper right corner and lower left corner of white panel in Mellow Moss Ink.  Ink edges with Old paper distress ink. Adhere white panel to black mat and attach to card base.  Cut sentiment square from Sunny Day Patterned paper collection and mat with black cardstock.  Adhere to middle of card using foam dots for dimension.  Tie black seam binding under sentiment square and make a loopy bow.
