Baby Love...

Hello! Today I have a baby themed card to share with you.  I used a Sizzix/Framelits with stamps by Stephanie Barnard set for this card.  It is called Words & Tags.  I stamped the flowers in the background in Bubbble Gum ink and then used Antique Linen distress ink on the edges.  The larger frame is stamped in chocolate onto kraft cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock and used the smaller matching frame to die cut.  The flowers and leaves are also stamped and then cut with matching dies.
To make the ric rac, I used the wavy dies from TSOL.
Here is a photo of the set. So sorry for the quality. I have a hard time taking photos with things wrapped in any type of plastic! LOL!

Some Baby Boy cards...

Hi, there! Today I have a couple of cards using The Stamps Of Life stamps. My first card uses the duck from onesie4baby and the sentiment was created using miniabc2stamp.  I created my waves using the negative from a scrap after using a scallop die. The woodgrain paper is from My Mind's Eye and the baker's twine is The Twinery.
This next card uses the set onesie4baby. I am in LOVE with that onesie stamp! I could make different onesies all day long. I stamped this onesie onto soft sky cardstock, and then went back and added some shading with a copic marker.  The bear is stamped in Stephanie's chocolate ink.  I sponged distress ink (antique linen) over the edges of all of the paper. I used some silver smooch for the snaps, but I just realized that one of the snaps kind of ran a bit. Dang!  The baker's twine is from The Twinery. I used my old Swiss Dots CB folder for the background. I do not know of anyone expecting any baby boys, but I will be ready with some cards when the time arrives!

Pennants for Baby Girl....

Hello! Today I have a card using the Pennant Party set and matching dies from Sweet N Sassy stamps.  I used SU inks in Certainly Celery and Pink Pirouette.  I stamped the background with the heart and circle image from this set.  The pennants were die cut and then stamped in the same inks.  I sewed some buttons from my stash to the pennants and added some baker's twine from The Twinery to the top.  The eyelet border is a SU punch.  I inked all of the edges of my paper with Antique Linen distress inks by Ranger.  The sentiment is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Baby Invites....

Hello!  My mom called me yesterday and asked if I could whip up some invites for my sister, who is expecting.  My sister lives out of state, and is coming home the first week of February, so the invites had to be made and mailed in short order!

I used two stamps sets from The Stamps Of Life. The sentiment is from the sweet4babies set and the inside was made with the invites2create set.  I used some older Almost Amethyst DP for the punched baby carriage.  I ran a panel of white cardstock through the CB with my swiss dots embossing folder and added some sheer white dotted ribbon to match.

My sis is a bit of a diva (don't worry, I would say this to her face and I love her gobs), and.... she is very specific about what she doesn't want for her baby girl.  No pink. No hearts. No bows.  Uhhhhh, yeah...

No pink...check.
No hearts...check.
No bows...well....How could this card NOT have a bow? It is for a baby girl, and I decided it, along with the flower border on the maybe blue/maybe lavender colored baby carriage, would clue those in who didn't know.  So, what do you think?
