EIC53-Inspired by Pinky's Pet Gear

This week's Etsy shop for your inspiration is Pinky's Pet Gear.  I don't have any pets, but I LOVE that some of the collars are made from Vera Bradley material!  I actually have a purse and wallet in the pattern in the picture above.  The first thing I thought of was my BasicGrey Marrakech DP!  Perfect for this pattern and colors and the upcoming autumn season.
These are some photos from our trip to Animal Kingdom at Disney World.  This was the safari we went on.  It was just gorgeous!  I love giraffes so snapped a bunch of photos of them.  I used some brown ink to distress the edges of the papers.  I distressed the edges of the brown mat behind the center photo.  The orange paper ribbon and the map DPis from K&Co.  The blue and bright patterned paper is Basic Grey's Marakesh line.  The letter in the title are Thickers by American Craft.  I am sooooo happy I finally made a scrapbook page.  I don't think I have scrapped since May!

Remember to use keyword EIC53 when uploading to online galleries.  The Digi Shack is sponsoring the challenge today.  Make sure to check out all of there awesome images HERE.  Most images are only $1!!!!!
Also be sure and check out the new Etsy Inspired Challenge blog if you haven't already.  Upload your creation to the EIC blog so we can all take a peek! :)  As always, a random winner will be chosen next Friday from the submissions.  The prize this week is one of these cute little collars!

Not so great Scrapbook LO, and blog candy WINNER!

I made this page for Sally's sketch challenge over at SCS found HERE. I really loved this sketch, but am so NOT happy with the way my page turned out! The DP I used and the journaling block are from Creative Memories. I am just not a creative memories kind of girl. I LOVE some of the tools they offer, but have never been a fan of their scrappin' style. I really like the greens and blues in this DP, but not sure about the journaling block. Oh well!

Now...for what you all have been waiting for! The winner of my Basic Grey blog candy is................Kristen, post #7. Here is her post:

Congratulations, Kristen! Shoot me a PM over on SCS or email me your addy and I will get this kit out to you this week!

I will have another scrapbook page tomorrow. I will be guest hostessing the Scrapbook Inspiration challenge on SCS tomorrow, so come take a peek!

Pocket full of Posies...SBSC171

Being the mom of three boys, I jump at the chance to scrap photo's of my niece. She is my only niece for the moment! I like to pull out the frilly girly stuff once in awhile. Thank Heaven for little girls, right?

This is for Sally's SBSC171 found HERE. You can see a photo fo the layout below. I think I sorta went a little overboard on this. It is crazy busy, but oh well! I love the new raspberry fizz DP from PTI, because it is so similiar to purely pomegranate. I also had to bust out another of my retired favs-wild wasabi. LOVE that color combo!

Stamps: Fanciful dots and fanciful border by UNITY

Paper: Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate(SU), Raspberry Fizz DP(PTI)

Accessories: decorative brad, satin ribbon, nesties, chipboard accents(UNKNOWN) and circle and word window punch (SU), prima flower.

Happy Stamping!

Blog Candy!

IT'S MY 1 MONTH BLOGIVERSAY! YAY!
I have company arriving in about 30 minutes, but here I am! I wanted to offer up some blog candy to celebrate one month of blogging! Leave me a comment on this post and I will have my son pick a random winner on Saturday! The blog candy will consist of this Christmas paperbag scrapbook, and other goodies and embellishments! I will post a photo of ALL of the goodies on Saturday when I announce the winner!

I made several of these for gifts this year for friends who do not scrapbook. I included some tags to put in the openings for journaling, adhesive for photos and an archival pen for journaling. All they had to do is add there photo's and own journaling!

Have a Merry Christmas and hope to post on Friday or Saturday!
