Cupid...

Hello!  I hope you all had a great weekend!  Sorry I didn't  post anything yesterday, but kind of a crazy weekend!  I actually made this card a couple of weeks ago, but never posted it!
The DP and stamps are from Pink Paislee's Cupid collection!  Gorgeous stuff!  I found a great online deal right after Christmas and was able to get everything in the collection for 50% off!  I have oodles of stuff and I really like their clear stamps.  They stamp beautifully!  I think I posted about this a while back, but it is worth mentioning again!  Can't wait to get my hands on some of the new lines they are coming out with!  The postmark, the cupid, and the xoxoxoxo are all stamped in rich cocoa.  I distressed the edges of all of the paper and added some buttons from my stash.

We are supposed to get hit with 6 more inches of snow tonight so I will be busy getting all of my DT work done tonight for the week in case of lots of snow days!!! It's fun to have snow days, but not a lot of stamping gets done with 3 boys running around!

Thanks for stopping by!

Verve Regal Heart and a JAZZY challenge!

Hey there!  I made this card for yesterday's CAS challenge over on SCS to use Teal, white and a neutral on our card.  I HAD to use this Free Digi from Verve (sorry, it is no longer on the Verve site!  It was a limited time thing!).  Isn't that heart gorgeous?  The sentiment is a Verve digi, too.
If you are on a serious budget, then you need to try digital images out.  I am using them more and more and you can always find FREE images from the different companies on a weekly basis.  I will try to post later in the week about different sites for FREEBIES!
Okay...more about the card...I used some Bermuda Bay, white and black cardstock.  Added some bling and colored the flourishes around the heart in with some markers.  Pretty quick and easy except for the paper piecing which took a little time!
This is also for my great friend Tenia's Jazzy Inspiration Challenge.  You can check out the deets HERE.  You will want to stop and look at her blog because she is one talented lady!

Fleur de lis Valentine-second post!

Here is my card for the day!  I decided to make it before I took the boys out to play in the snow.  This is for the Ways To Use It Challenge over on SCS (to use something new) and also for the Limelight sketch.  Pretty much everything I used on this card is new!  I fell in love with Pink Paislee's new Cupid collection.  I got it at 50% off just before the holidays, so I was able to buy every single thing!  I also bought a bunch of bling at Michael's the other day in the dollar spot.  We were to use buttons with the Limelight sketch, so I guess I cheated a bit. LOL!  I used the Bella brads from the Cupid collection and added a rhinestone in the middle. The stamp is also from the cupid collection.  I had never tried Pink Paislee stamps before, and I am very impressed!  They stamp beautifully.  Thanks for taking a peek!
Hugs!

Whoo Loves You? HHH

Hello! I made this card for this past week's Unity sketch challenge. I will be giving this to my son for Valentine's Day. All of the DP is from Colorbok's Friendly Forest collection-I am addicted! The sentiment is hand written. I ran out in the rain to snip a twig off of a bush and then had to dry it out with my heat gun since it was wet! LOL! I paper pieced the owl and hand cut the hearts at the bottom from DP. The background stamp is distressed dots from USC.

The strip of scallop edged paper at the top is DP. Someone asked me if they were stamped. The only stamping is the distressed dot background and the owl! The little animals on the top are just part of the paper, and the Unity owl just happens to go really well with it!

Have a fabulous Friday!

Valentine Hugs!

Hello! This is a card I made for the What To Use challenge on SCS found HERE. We were to layer multiple embellishments. I layered ribbon, prima and bling! I also added some dewdrops in the corner. The stamps used are from There She Goes. This was my first purchase from there, and I give them an A+! They shipped my items super fast and they are high quality clear stamps. Nice clean image every time.
The card base is pretty in pink. I also used chocolate chip, purely pomegranate, Berry Bliss and watercolor paper. I love the bottle of all white Primas. I left it white for this card, but you can watercolor the edges or dye the whole thing with reinkers if you need to! You can get the exact color prima you want! Just a little tip!
Have a Super Saturday!

Ten Years of Marital Bliss...and a card!

Today is hubby and I's ten year anniversary! Above is a photo of us dancing at our wedding to the song you are listening to right now on my blog!
This is a photo of us at Thanksgiving this year. Three houses(no, we don't own three...just lived in three) and three boys later...still smiling and in love!!!

I made the card below for the limited supply challenge on SCS. Here were the rules for the challenge:

*Stamps: Any (bonus points for using a heart image!)*Paper: any + red...any shade of red*if you use a punch or die it must be heart shaped*if you use embossing folders...they must have a heart*if you use an accessory it MUST be heart shaped or red*if you use designer paper...yup you guessed it, red or hearts!

Everything I used for this card was in my stash of "OLD" things. Both SU sets have sinced retired (sweet talk and alphabet soup). The ribbon and large heart brads were bought years ago, but never used. I plan on giving this one to hubby when he gets home from work tonight!

Have a Fabulous Friday!
