Hello! Well, it is not so beautiful here in Ohio today. We are having a much needed, rainy kind of day. I wanted to share this card I made for the Heartfelt Creations blog. I LOVE the way my flower turned out, and it was quite easy to do! Below, you will find the products and instructions for making this card.
Products:
HCPC 3468-Tattered Blossoms PreCut Set
HCPC 3474-Heartfelt Expressions PreCut Set
HCPC 3376 Distressed Leaves PreCut Set
HCD 722 Tattered Blossoms Die
other supplies: white cardstock, watercolor paper, SU markers in Real
Red, Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery and Old Olive; Black Staz On ink,
water mister, stylus, black glitter, foam dimensional dots, Glossy
Accents
Instructions:
First stamp flowers and leaves in black Staz On ink onto water color
paper. Die cut with matching Tattered blossoms dies. Color flowers with
apricot marker and add tiny bits of red on top. Spritz with water
mister and use a towel or baby wipe to smooth colors out as desired.
Next color your leaves in the same way using the lighter celery color
first and adding touches of the darker green. Spritz leaves with water
mister and use a towel or baby wipe to smooth the colors as desired.
Use a stylus and a foam mat and mold/shape flowers while still wet.
Once dry, layer and glue them together. Using Glossy Accents, add black
glitter to flower center. Adhere leaves to back of flower.
Fold white cardstock to create a base that measures 4.25" x 5.5".
Next cut a mat from white cardstock that measures 4" x 5.25". Stamp
sentiment in black ink onto white cardstock mat in lower third and
center it. Adhere finished flower over sentiment so that it is also
centered. Using foam dimensional dots, center white cardstock panel
with flower onto white card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Emily
