Stormy Weather...
Hello! Today's card features the new umbrella4you set from The Stamps Of Life. I used the sketch for today's CAS challenge over on SCS for this one. I kept it one layer. I used a punched scallop circle and Soft Sky ink (SU) to create the clouds in the background. The umbrella uses Baja Breeze and Ridinghood Red (SU). The sentiment is stamped in black.
Life has been crazy and I have been trying to catch up on some neglected house hold chores. Not fun, but I have told myself I can not redecorate and re-paint until these things are DONE! I am excited to re-do my bedroom and master bath, so these grueling tasks are a must. Do any of you give yourself silly goals like that? I even will tell myself, "No stamping until you clean the kitchen"! It keeps me motivated to do the things I dislike so I can get on with the things I love!!!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Here is a quick CAS one layer card! I used an older SU set called The More The Merrier. I simply stamped the image in black and colored the hearts with copic markers. The sentiment is from The Stamps Of Life set called daisies2garden.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Under The Weather....
Hi, there! Today I am sharing a card made with the newest release from The Stamps Of Life. This set is called umbrella4you. I love the big umbrella image. Their are two different stamps to fill in the center of the umbrella. One is solid and the other is polka dot. I love that you can switch it up!
I used bright colors on my umbrella (Guava and Grape by Stephanie Barnard). The raindrops are stamped in Sky ink and the sentiment in Licorice ink.
Thanks for stopping by today!

In my prayers...
I wanted to share another card I made with the hope4us stamps set from The Stamps Of Life. I stamped the main image three times with chocolate ink by Stephanie Barnard. I then went back with green inks and a sponge, to fill in the leaves. This is a really quick and easy, one layer card (OLC) to make if you are pressed for time. I think I will make sets of note cards with this same design, just using the other images for little gift sets. I like to have those type of gifts on hand for teachers, friends and family.

Wish....
Hello! Today I have a very CAS, one layer card for you. I used an image from The Stamps Of Life new set, hope4us. I love the different bold, images in this set. Perfect for CAS cards. I also used a sentiment from the set, daisies2garden. I added some baker's twine to the top. I used inks by Stephanie Barnard in Licorice and Guava. Stephanie's inks match PERFECTLY with The Twinery baker's twine! Love that.
Today we awoke to everything being coated with ice. BLECH! No thanks...I really just want at least one beautiful SNOW! Not happening as our temperatures are supposed to climb to 50 tomorrow. Crazy weather!
Thanks for taking a peek!

Agapanthus Thank You...
Hi, there! Today I have a card I made for the CAS challenge over on SCS. I used different sized acrylic blocks inked with three different shades of green. I find I get the best results if I stamp over a spongy surface such as an old mouse pad. The stamps are from The Stamps Of Life set called thanks2you. I love the agapanthus in this set. You can also turn it into a dandelion! Fun stuff!
It is cold, windy and bleh here in SW Ohio. I am trying to keep three boys who are off of school today "occupied". Oh, how easily they get bored with a house full of toys, games, movies, books....you get the picture. :)

Tradefish Designs-Birthday Balloons!
Hello! Today I have a card using Tradefish Designs set, Another Year. I stamped the sentiment, balloons, and confetti in Memento Tuxedo Black. I then colored the balloons with copic markers. I added some stickles to the confetti and drew the strings with a black archival pen. I tied a little bow on the balloon bouquet. I was running low on birthday cards, so I need to replenish my stash!

Have a "Hoppy" Good Day!
Hello! Today I am sharing a card I made with the new release from The Stamps Of Life, froggy2love set. I decided to make a OLC. I stamped the frog in Spearmint ink and the flies and sentiment in Licorice ink. I love Stephanie's new inks. They are super juicy, and stamp a fabulous impression every time. I colored in the centers of the frog's eyes with a black pen, and created the border with a black pen. You will be seeing more of this set in the week's to come!

Pumpkin and Turquoise flowers...
Hi there! I made a quick little OLC today for the color challenge on SCS-pumpkin, olive and turquoise. I pulled out my branches4flowers set from The Stamps Of Life. I made a very similiar card a month ago in just green and blue with a different sentiment. This literally took minutes to make. The hardest part was adhering the rhinestones to the flower centers! I am going to try to get out all of my fall decorations today so the house is decorated when boys get home from school. I LOVE fall! I have lots of ideas brewing in my head but not enough time to do them in. LOL!
Have a great day,
Emily

Thinking of You Daisies....
Today's card features stamps from the a new set from The Stamps Of Life called, daisies2garden. This set is super versatile with lots of daisy sizes and great sentiments in a typewriter type font. I simply stamped the outline border of daisies and then went back and stamped the solid daisy image in red to fill them in. I added some black half pearls to the middles of the flowers.
Super easy peasy!
Thanks for stopping in today. Look for more cards from this fab set...I LOVE it!

Two Peas In A Pod!
Hello! Today I have a OLC I made for this week's CAS challenge over on SCS. The theme this week is Gardens. Hope you get a chance to play along with us!
I used a newly released set called sweet4babies from The Stamps Of Life. This is by far, going to be my "go to" baby set. I wish I had this set back when my twins were born!
Some of the many benefits of being a TSOL club member, are that you get 15% off the price of stamp sets, and you are able to purchase the monthly special release sets earlier than everyone else! Great stamps at a great price. Shipping is always $1 per set! There isn't a stamp company out there that can beat those shipping prices!
Thanks for stopping by!

The art of Zentangle...2nd post today
So...today's What To Use challenge over on SCS was to try Zentangle. A very cool black and white type of doodling. Go HERE to find out more about it! I decided to make a CAS, one layer card. This also will be perfect for Cas-tastic Wednesday's challenge--to make a one layer card. I have always been a doodler, so this was right up my alley. I used various archival black pens on white cardstock. My sentiment is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and is from Unity's May 2010 KOTM. I also did a bit of paper piercing towards the bottom for effect.
Thanks for stopping by...again today!
