life-dream it, believe it, live it

Here is a card I made for this week's {ippity} challenge-to make a masculine card.  I know, I know...I put a ribbon on it.  Just couldn't help it.  At least it is a masculine ribbon-black and white gingham can be masculine...right?  LOL!
I used the brayered sky technique for this.  I layered soft sky, apricot appeal, pumpkin pie, really rust with the brayer.  I sponged some of the Memento black around the edges after stamping the cat tails and the sentiment.  The cat tail is from the {ippity} where you should be set and the sentiment is from What Matters Most.  I just LOVE these stamps!  They make me super duper happy inking them up.  I am getting ready to schedule my first big class in the next couple of weeks.  I have been waiting for my basement to be finished and it will be done by the end of the week! HOORAY!
If you are interested in any {ippity} stamps make sure you check out my {ippity} page!

Thanks for stopping by!

This is a perfect masculine card! A little ribbon doesn't distract from that! Men should have a little feminine side anyway... just a little! :-)

Beautiful! I love the background, the colors and that sentiment... gotta have it!

Great job, Em. And I'm sure any woman would be happy to receive this, too! Can't wait for your class.
