Hello! Can you believe it is officially December? I was excited to start my December Daily album. This year I am doing my album "junk journal" style. For the first page I have used papers and ephemera from Tim Holtz Christmas collection. I added a tea stained doily and some zig-zag stitching. The numbers are from the Heidi Swapp Believe collection.
I will share my cover on another day, but it is made from a package I recieved in the mail. I will bind it all when I am done with the pages. This allows me to more easily sew and stamp on the pages as I go.
If you are doing a December Daily type album I would love to see pics! Share a link in the comments if you would like and I will leave you some love. :)
Thanks for stopping by,
Emily

Heartfelt Creations November Blog Hop-Christmas mini album
Hello! Time for another Heartfelt Creation's blog hop! Are you ready for Christmas? Do you have your scrapbook albums complete and ready to load all of your wonderful photos into? This is such a hectic time of year, I always try to get my handmade gifts and December Daily album done in advance. One less thing to worry about, eh?
This little album uses Heartfelt Creation's Sparkling Poinsettia collection. I adore this collection. I love the classic red and green color scheme and the elegant designs throughout. It also pairs beautifully with black card stock. This is a hinged mini album with plenty of tucks and tags and space for someone to add their own photos and journaling. I cannot share the tutorial for making this album, as I paid for the instructions. But...there are so many you tube videos out there that show you how to create something very similar. :)
The Hop starts at 8am EST on Friday November 24th and closes Monday the 27th of November at 11.59pm EST.
A random comment will be chosen from the participating blogs for a $25 Heartfelt Creations gift card! The winner will be announced on the HC blog and on FB on the Wednesday the 29th of November.Here is a list of participants in case you get lost!

FA*BOO*LOUS!!!!
Hello! Today I am sharing a couple of Halloween cards I made using stamps from Darcie's. Can I just say I looooooveeeee these stamps. Both of these cards were fairly easy to make. I used some distress inks to create the colored background. I then cut an oval from the middle, and was able to use the oval and the leftover frame for both cards. Easy Peasy!
This card I used the ghost as a speech bubble. I just masked the eyes and mustache and then stamped a sentiment inside. Love finding other uses for stamps. :)

You Are My Sunshine...
Hello! I made another Julie Nutting doll tag. I love paper piecing stamped images back together. I used the "Dita" doll stamp and some Maggie Holmes paper by American Craft. The sunshine stamp and sentiment are from Unity Stamp Company. The flowers were in my stash and are probably from Prima too!
I used Prisma pencils to shade after piecing the doll. I think these tags will be perfect to save and hang on a gift bag when the occasion arises.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Heartfelt Creations August Blog Hop
Hello! Welcome to the August Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop. I made an A2 sized card this month using paper, stamps and dies from the Butterfly Medley collection. This is one of my favorite collections. The purples, oranges, greens, and blues are so beautiful for a late summer card. I used a card panel from the paper collection and adhered to a white cardstock base. I stamped my butterfly in Archival Black ink on watercolor paper, and used the coordinating die to cut it out. I used Prima watercolors to color the image. When dry, I added some Stardust Stickles to the wings and adhered on the card.

Sprinkling You With Joy...
Hello! Today I have a card using The Stamps Of Life stamp set and dies, donuts2stamp. I used the dies to make the donut and then sponged Antique Linen distress ink for the bottom, and Picked Raspberry distress ink for my icing. Stamped my chocolate sprinkles and sentiment in Walnut Stain distress ink.
This is a quick and simple birthday card to make. I plan on making them in every color! So fun!

Collect Beautiful Moments...
Exited to share my first Prima Julie Nutting doll. I created a tag from some cardboard. I paper pieced her skin tones using old papers from a book. The rest of the patterned papers are from Crate Paper's Bloom collection. The pink flower was made using dyed coffee filters. I added Prill beads to the center. Not sure what I will do with this ginormous tag, but it was so much fun to make!

He watches over you...
Hello. Sharing some bible journaling today. I am currently working on a two week devotional from Illustrated Faith. It is the I am strong kit. This journaling is based on Psalm 121. I used watercolors from Prima's tropicals collection. I outlined everything with a black pitt pen. I also added some white flecks with a white gel pen to the orange sky. Here is Psalm 121:
Psalm 121
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

Bible Journaling: Bravery and so much gratitude
Hi, there! Sharing another bible journaling entry with you. I am currently doing the "Uninvited" study by Lysa Terkeurst, so my entries will reflect what I am studying in the next several weeks. Isaiah 53. A powerful reminder of the rejection that Jesus faced through out his lifetime and the suffering he willingly took on for me. What a blessing to know that when I feel rejected or fearful, I can look to him to for strength and bravery. Countless times in my life I have rejected him, looking for acceptance everywhere but through him. And despite it all, he forgives me and wants me.
I used gelatos to color this page. I also used stamps from Bossy Joscie and the Illustrated Faith kit, "I Am Strong". I added details with a white gel pen and then stamped "thank you" in white ink onto the black hill at the bottom of the page.

Bible Journaling: Living Loved
Hello! I have recently dived into bible journaling and decided to share what I have been doing on my blog. I found that I was having trouble getting back into a creative groove. Mixing my faith and my art seemed like a good place to start, and I am so glad that I decided to mix these to parts of my life together!
I am currently doing a bible study in my women's group. "Uninvited" by Lysa Terkeurst. The first session talks about living loved, so I wanted to journal Ephesians 1:4-5.I used paper elements from Bella Blvd./Illustrated Faith "She Blooms" collection.
I hope you enjoy looking at some of my journaling and I welcome any cool tips or tricks that you may have to offer, since I am a newbie at this. :)
